Saray 's Choco lips "chocolate cake "

This is one of my all time favorite. I bought it for the first time maybe 2 years ago , it was a unique product  at the time with no competitors.
A very rich piece of chocolate cake splashed with gooey chocolate sauce and coated with  soft  milk chocolate.
What's not to like !!
All the other brands  that try to imitate it, fail against that small piece of awesome chocolate cake.
It 's now available as plain, with crisps or coated with white chocolate.
A total win. The wrapping , the price and the taste (yeah the taste ! ) all work perfectly.

" Flame " Milk chocolate coated crisped rice

After buying and trying out a lot of snacks, I came up with the Golden Rule when choosing what to eat: " If it looks bad (the wrapping i mean ), it usually is cheap and it 's almost always bad, I mean really bad .... "
So when I found this with the ugly cover and the name "flame" which doesn't represent any kind of food in my opinion, I thought that it's the usual "bad tasting snack "
But then I saw its price it was 2.5 L.E. (not as cheap as i imagined )
So I gabbed it and looked closely.
It's actually a Turkish snack ( not Egyptian as i initially thought ), and it's an imitation of "Maltesers" with the description "Milk coated crisped rice"
From the first moment you open the pack, it's a bit smaller than Maltesers in the size of the chocolate sphere.
It had smooth good quality chocolate , with crispy not so hard rice, missing only the caramel taste of the original  Maltesers  .

Elvarin Duo "carramel and chocolate wafers "

Here we are with another Turkish candy bar by Elvan , from the first look i thought that mars has created a new size for their famous chocolate bar , but then i looked closely,
Elvarin duo 2 pieces of wafer biscuit filled with hazelnut cream with a layer of caramel and covered with chocolate what could you want more.It even comes at a very reasonable price of 1.5 L.E.
At the first bit you notice 2 things , sticky caramel which is always good and of a good quality but then you are attacked by the sweetness.
It's very sweet you can't taste anything in particular and even the wafer is not fresh , it got a bit soft which made the bar even worse.

Balocco cream wafers

I am a big fan of wafer biscuits. In Egypt we have 2 competitive companies that make this type of biscuits, both have the same price (1 L.E.) but unfortunately of the same quality which is fine but not great.Nothing  compares with Loacker wafers
With the foreign biscuits we have a few good tries  at  reasonable prices and of great quality.
Pocker (I admire the creativity of the name BTW ) with a variety of flavors: chocolate, hazelnut cream, vanilla and others at 2.5 L.E.  It really comes very close in term of the wrapping and the amount of cream to Loacker
I am talking today about Balocco wafers which I found at the store in front of ( Mecca juices) in Smouha.
The first thing that caught my attention that it's not the new Turkish biscuit that you can find in every store in Egypt these days, but it's Italian with a small flag of Italy on the front of the wrapping.

The flavor of chocalate hazelnut ( which is one of my favorites ) was really exceptional. It's very rich and tasty, with thin crispy wafers that makes the biscuit tastes amazing.
In my opinion it's the same as loacker if not better
Yes I said it, better than Loacker !!!
With a price of 3 L.E. it's one of my best finds this year.
